What do you associate Sweden with? The Battle of Poltava, the ABBA group, the Swedish family or the Swedish wall? And it is also the birthplace of Anna Johansson, a physician who has made a real revolution in nutrition after coming up with a diet such as the "Diet 6 Petal".
The essence of the diet
You can calm down immediately, you do not have to eat exclusively six petals a day, the diet is more varied and, in principle, does not include eating flowers. Although Dr. Johansson promises that in a week in her diet you can lose 5 kg, which seems like an incredible result.
A petal is a day of dieting, when you can only eat a certain amount of one type of food. The sequence of days is important, so you can even draw yourself a flower with six petals, write in each menu and a serial number and follow the recommendations exactly.
This, by the way, is the convenience of this diet. No need to guess what to eat. You clearly know your diet for the following days.
This, to some extent, is a mono-diet, but the body does not have time to get used to one type of food and switch to an energy-saving mode. In addition, studies have shown that mono-diets lasting less than a day are more effective for burning fat.
Results in this diet are achieved through protein-carbohydrate alternation and reduction in the number of calories consumed. You eat one type of food every day and do not mix proteins with carbohydrates, which allows you to break down fats more efficiently.
How can you cook food
Food can be boiled, stewed, baked or steamed, but it is strictly forbidden to fry or add oil. In addition, the author suggests limiting coffee consumption to 1-2 small cups per day. Of course, no sugar. According to her, it is better to drink tea or carbonated mineral water in an amount of at least 1. 5 liters per day. But under no circumstances should you drink liquid food, just 30 minutes before a meal or an hour after.
And so that the feeling of hunger does not overwhelm you, divide all the food into 4-5 receptions. And you do not have to stay at fixed intervals. Want to eat? Went and ate a little. Well, or drank green tea.
You can stick to the diet for two weeks in a row. But remember to take a break of at least two weeks before the next attempt.
Despite this, the diet is contraindicated:
- Pregnant;
- breastfeeding mothers;
- With diseases of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart, endocrine system (especially diabetes);
- Me anemia;
- With infections or immediately after an illness;
- Worsening of any chronic disease.
And yet, although this is not a direct contraindication, you will find it difficult to follow such a diet if you work out. Therefore, it is better to save it for the holidays.
Flower diet - every day a petal

seventh petal
No, this is not an optical illusion. And, yes, you read the name of the diet correctly. There are indeed six petals and you have to alternate six types of diet but there is one thing as important as getting out of the diet. The day you realize you can do anything.
The main thing on this day is not to relax so much that you gain half of what you lost. Someone recommends a gradual exit and now advises to eat only those foods you have eaten in the diet, slightly increasing their portions.
Proponents of radical methods say the easy way out is not for us and suggest we spend the seventh day exclusively in water. Which of these two options do you like best - choose for yourself.
Of course, you can just shake hands and dive back into the world of delicious desserts.
Why diet is good
Will this diet help you if you decide to lose weight? Definitely yes, the Swedes did their best. If you try, you will lose weight by 0, 6 - 0, 9 kg per day.
Can you survive it without breaking down? Also a positive response. The diet is quite simple and allows you to eat so much that you do not look with longing and nostalgia for a piece of bread.
However, despite its effectiveness, "6 petals" still does not solve the problem of your future diet. Six days of dieting will pass and you will be back to your usual diet and it will already give you back the pounds you lost. So even if you are on this diet, it is better to see it as an opportunity to take a step towards a healthier future.
